I recently received the Painting Lulu coloring app and crayon stylus. I will admit that I did not participate in the testing of the product for this review. I left that up to my 3 year old and she seemed to enjoy it very much. She has spent a great deal of time using the crayon stylus to color on the Lulu app.
I like that the app does not automatically fill with color when an area is touched. It is just like a coloring book. Color appears where the stylus touches and only there. It is a great app for helping little kids learn to color and to stay inside of the lines. It's also wonderful for tricking younger kids into learning. My daughter thinks she is sitting down to play with the iPad when she is really working on her coloring and other skills that she practices in occupational therapy.
