Organic Matcha by Ceremonial Grade - Review

Organic Matcha by Ceremonial Grade

Who knows what matcha is?  I wasn't exactly sure when I received the Organic Matcha by Ceremonial Grade .  I was under the impression that all green tea is the same.  That is not correct.

Matcha is a finely ground powder form of high quality green tea.  It is most commonly used in Japanese tea ceremonies.

I have been a fan of green tea for many years.  I drink it every morning.  There are many health benefits to green tea.  Green tea consumption is associated with a reduced risk of stroke.  One study has shown that green tea consumption for a period of 3-6 months can lower a person's blood pressure by a small amount.  Another study suggests that drinking green tea lowers fasting blood sugar.  It is also believed that green tea can be used to lower cholesterol.  Some also believe that green tea can aid in weight loss.  Obviously there are many benefits to this natural product.

As I stated, I have been drinking green tea daily for several years.  I however, have not found a brand of green tea that I actually enjoy the taste of.  I drink it in order to receive the health benefits..not because it tastes good.  Once I received the Organic Matcha by Ceremonial Grade I read several reviews and many said that they did not like the taste of this matcha compared to other types of green tea.  I naturally assumed that I would not enjoy the taste.  I was very surprised to find that this tastes so much better than any of the brands I have tried in the past.  Each morning I add about 1/8th of a teaspoon of the matcha to a glass of hot water with a pinch of sugar.  There have been days that I have made tea during the day just because I actually enjoy the taste of this brand.   I have also noticed that this higher quality green tea is also more effective for me.  Since changing to this brand I have seen a change in my energy levels and a boost in my immune system.  I have not experienced sinus infections nearly as often as I did in the past.

Below is a little information from Ceremonial Grade.
