I can remember the first time I saw someone have a chemical peel on one of those plastic surgery shows.  It's unbelievable what we will put ourselves through to be beautiful.  What's a few days of suffering for months of beauty?  It's really not that much if you think about it.  I don't know about you but my checkbook and schedule don't allow me to run to the plastic surgeon every time I want to improve something.  I'm more of a DIY beauty person :)

That's where the Dr Song Lactic Acid Gel Peel comes into the picture.  I used this peel for the first time last night.  I've had it for a couple of weeks and was actually a little scared to use it lol.  After all the bottle says use with care.  I looked online and reviewed the directions just to be sure that I had them down before I stared.  It does also say acid on the bottle, I'm sure you can understand my caution.

I followed the directions exactly.  This is not exactly the same thing that you would do in a doctor's office. Honestly, I would have major concerns with buying something online that IS the same strength as what you normally go to a doctor to get.  You begin by cleaning your face and patting it dry.  I then applied a small amount of the Dr Song Lactic Acid Gel Peel to my face and neck with a cotton ball.  I left it on my face for 1 minute.  It doesn't seem like long but I could actually feel it working.  It didn't burn but it did sting a little.  I could tell it was working.  After 1 minute I washed it off.  My face was so soft.  It was also a little pink.  Nothing horrible..just a little color.  After a few minutes it was also extremely dry, this is normal.  I used my normal moisturizer and also applied my moisturizer with sunscreen.  As with any peel, your skin will be sensitive for a few days and will also burn easily.  You MUST apply sunscreen daily.  This is already part of my daily routine so it was no biggie for me.  This morning when I got up my face was a little dry and sensitive in a few places.  The pink color was mostly gone.  I applied more moisturizer w/sunscreen and as the day has gone the sensitivity has nearly ended.  I can tell a huge difference in my skin!  It's like years were removed from my face!  My skin really looks brighter.  This is after using the peel for 1 minute 12 hours ago.  I am already counting down the days until I can use the peel again!!  I have never seen such drastic results with a skin care product so fast before.  This is a product that I will be using from now on!
