I have found the coolest little kitchen gadget of all times! It's called the Zaptop Beer Bottle Opener.  It doesn't look at all like a bottle opener.  It reminds me of something but I'm not sure what.  Maybe a mini oil filter or something like that? I'm not sure but it's something that goes on a car..it's a boy thing..definitely not a kitchen thing I know.

We don't drink beer much.  When we do it's usually Corona, which of course is in a bottle.  Nothing against beer I'm just more of a wine person.  I do however LOVE me some Coke in a glass bottle.  It is the absolute best way to have a coke.  And of course you must drop a handful of peanuts in the bottle.  Please, don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about..that's the ONLY way to have a Coke in a glass bottle.  Note to self: write Coke a letter asking them to sell glass bottles with little bags of peanuts attached. Anyway, I can never get my Coke opened.  I spend 10 minutes trying my hardest to open it.  It ends with bloody knuckles and a very thirsty and frustrated me.  I end up putting the coke back in the fridge until my husband gets home to help me.

I have some weakness in my hands and I sometimes have trouble gripping things, especially small bottle openers.  I have just given up and accepted the fact that I can't open my own glass bottles.  It's kinda depressing to accept, but it's one of those things.

I recently received the opportunity to review the Zaptop Beer Bottle Opener.  It looked like it maybe a little easier to use than a regular bottle openers so I thought I would give it a try.  Here are the directions:

Set and rest the opener on top of the bottle.
GENTLY push the opener straight down until you hear it click.  Do not twist or slam the opener on top of the lid.
Release the opener upward. Remember it is spring loaded and you do not need to pull up, it will push itself back up.  If you do this easy enough a magnet will hold the cap until you remove it.

It's seriously that easy!  Chris (the 6 year old) can even do it!  I was hopeful that it would be easier than a regular bottle opener but I never expected it to be THIS easy.  It's basically effortless!

This bottle opener is great! It works on all types of bottles.  It's convenient and easy for anyone to use and is great for people that have weakness in their hands or have trouble using a regular bottle opener.

If you are interested in purchasing this bottle opener you may do so by visiting their Amazon listing.  It would make a great stocking stuffer.
