Ending Stress - Ebook Review
I recently finished reading Ending Stress A Practical Guide to Nondual Meditation.
I have always been interested in meditation but I have never taken time to research it. I was offered the opportunity to review this book and jumped on it. I live in a somewhat chaotic world. Between school, sports, doctors, etc I am always running and never have time to finish everything. It can get stressful. Meditation sounded like a good way to relax and find inner calm.
I was excited to begin the book but also a little skeptical. People on movies always look so peaceful and calm after meditation but I realize that it doesn't always work the same in real life as in the movies. I was also a little confused. We have all seen the meditation pose and the people sitting there humming..I kept thinking I hope this works and I don't look like an idiot if someone walks in. Then I started to wonder how in the world I was going to clear my mind of the 500 things running through it.
Well, I jumped right in. I decided I was going to be open minded and give it a fair shot. The book was very interesting. The book alone changed the way I see many things in everyday life. It certainly changed the way I think. He went into detail about how we look at life and how we actually create our own stress. I think he was writing this book about me.
Once I finished the book I sat down to try out meditating. I was difficult the first time. It's not easy to control your mind and to silence the thoughts that pop in there. The first time wasn't great but I noticed that each time it got a little easier. After a few days I was able to sit and completely clear my mind. It was so peaceful and relaxing. It's nice to have just a few minutes to forget about everything and not be rushing.
I recommend this book to anyone that is interested in meditation. You don't have to stressed to your limits to benefit from it. For me, it's just a few minutes to reset myself.
If you are interested in purchasing this ebook, you can do so at http://www.amazon.com/know-reality-peace-jonathan-harrison-ebook/dp/b00a51nfw4. I believe that this is something everyone can benefit from.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
