Propresser Stainless Stell Garlic Press - Review

I live in a house full of people that LOVE garlic!  If you saw the amount of garlic products in my home you would think that we have an extreme fear of vampires.  I regularly buy garlic spread, garlic salt, minced garlic, crushed garlic..any product that says garlic on the label is likely in my pantry or refrigerator.

I recently received the opportunity to review the Propresser professional garlic press.  I was way excited!  I'm cheap.  If I can make it at home then I don't buy it.  I'm not sure why it never crossed my mind to purchase fresh garlic and make my own spread, etc but it didn't..until now.

As soon as I saw that I was approved for this review I headed out to buy some fresh garlic.  I sat everyday not patiently waiting for it to arrive.  It FINALLY arrived.  It actually arrived a day early but I was so excited that those few days seemed like weeks.  It's similar to how kids feel the week of Christmas.

I put it to use that very day! Dinner that night was spaghetti and what goes better with spaghetti than garlic bread?!  Nothing does!  So I got to work.  I washed my garlic and got it all ready to press.  I was surprised at how easy it was and puzzled at why I had never thought to do this in the past.  It worked perfectly.  I have actually used it several times this week. Almost nightly.  Like I said, we put garlic on everything.

This press is very well made.  I think it is nearly impossible to destroy stainless steel.  If it were able to be broken it wouldn't survive long at my house.  The handle is large which makes it very easy to hold and very comfortable to use.  I expected it to be hard to close or uncomfortable when I was using it but, it wasn't at all.

This product is built with quality in mind.  It comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee and has a lifetime warranty.  That alone proved to me that this is a product that will last.  Companies do not issue lifetime warranties on products that are not build well. This product is simple to use.  I do not see a person with arthritis having any issues with using this product.  It is that easy to close! Clean up is so simple.  You simply flip the press and rinse it under a running faucet.  It rinses clean with ease.  There isn't any scrubbing or poking with a toothpick to get the little pieces out.  It washes completely clean with no effort.

I am so happy that I now have this wonderful product in my kitchen. I have stopped buying all of the garlic products I bought in the past and now only buy fresh garlic.  The taste of fresh garlic is so much better than that of processed spreads, etc.  I will never go back to using those products and look forward to years of use from this press.

This would make a great Christmas gift for the chef on your list!
